This HIBB begins with introducing some critical tips required in the design of data collection forms. It addresses the grouping of questions in a logical manner. The HIBB then discusses encounter and patient types to further elaborate on the inclusion and exclusion criteria when developing data collection forms. Lastly, the approaches to determination of what data needs to be collected and how this will be utilized in helping to manage health information systems.
