Preparing Research Datasets discusses how a research request for data is developed. Using data that has already been collected, the HIBB discusses how to make that data accessible for your project, how to make sure it works within the analysis tool that has been developed, and what might need to be done to the data to clean it up for analysis. (Prerequisite: familiarity with SAS.)
